About Me – who’s behind this blog?
My name is Tom Moy.
I’m starting a new path in my life by creating this blog. I hope
to make something out of it, maybe even make a living from it. We’ll see
how that goes. I love working with computers. I’ve been working with
PCs for a long time. Switching over to a Mac seemed like a logical step for me.
Macs are so much easier to use. PCs should have been designed this way.
This blog is for those PC users who have made the switch or are thinking
about it. I want this blog to be informative yet entertaining, interesting,
helpful and just “funner”.

Experience
My guess is most people transition gradually over to blogging or some other
internet activity that they have a passion for from which they can earn a living;
then they quit their day jobs. In my case my regular job was recently eliminated
at Chase Bank. made my decision for me. Shortly afterwards I
decided to create this blog and work with it full time.

Overall, I’ve been at the bank for 21 years.
I’ve been a Java developer for the last eight years. Prior to that I worked
on various IT projects with various roles ranging from systems administrator,
programmer/analyst, project lead, and developer.

I have a BS in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, USA;
an MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology, USA;
